Hunter Pence collected three hits and drove in three runs as the San Francisco Giants scored 10 unanswered runs to beat the Kansas City Royals 11-4 last night, evening the World Series at two games.
Down 4-1 after the top of the third inning, the Giants scored 10 times over the next five innings at AT&T Park in San Francisco. Pence and Joe Panik combined for five hits and five runs batted-in while Yusmeiro Petit got the win in relief, extending his Major League Baseball postseason scoreless streak to 12 innings.
