The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency is examining whether Lance Armstrong, who has been banned for life from cycling after admitting to doping violations, is eligible to take part in a South Carolina charity ride this weekend.
Armstrong is scheduled to participate in the third annual Gran Fondo Hincapie in Greenville, South Carolina, on Oct. 26, where he would reunite with George Hincapie, Christian Vande Velde and Kevin Livingston, members of the 1999 Tour de France-winning U.S. Postal Service team.
