CBS Offers Web Viewers Access From ‘MacGyver’ to ‘Good Wife’

Updated on

CBS, the most-watched U.S. TV network, introduced a subscription service that lets Internet users stream live broadcasts and a library of current hits like “The Good Wife” and old favorites like “MacGyver.”

For $5.99 a month, customers will get full current seasons of 15 prime-time shows, with episodes available for viewing online the day after they’re broadcast, network owner CBS Corp. said today in a statement. More than 5,000 episodes of older series, such as “Star Trek” and “Cheers,” will also be available, along with live streams of local stations in 14 of the largest U.S. markets.
