Brazil Vote in Dead Heat as Neves, Rousseff Tie in Poll

Brazilian opposition candidate Aecio Neves is statistically tied with President Dilma Rousseff 11 days before a runoff election, Ibope and Datafolha polls showed today.

Neves has 45 percent support and Rousseff 43 percent, according to the Oct. 14-15 Datafolha pollBloomberg Terminal of 9,081 people. The Oct. 12-14 Ibope pollBloomberg Terminal of 3,010 people also shows Neves and Rousseff with 45 percent and 43 percent respectively. Both have a margin of error of plus or minus two percentage points.
