The FBI has received a “substantial number of tips” from its request for help identifying a masked man in an Islamic State propaganda video, said bureau official Carl Ghattas.
The public’s assistance came after the FBI on Oct. 7 posted an excerpt of the video on the Internet, said Ghattas, the agent in charge of the Washington Field Office’s Counter-Terrorism Division.
