Subway Inn, the 77-year-old Manhattan bar threatened with eviction in July, will leave its current location at the end of the year and replicate the business two blocks away.

The tavern will remain open at 143 E. 60th St. through Dec. 2, according to separate statements yesterday by the Subway Inn’s owners and their landlord, World Wide Group. After that, Subway Inn will dislodge its bar stools, booths and neon sign and move two blocks east on 60th Street, to a spot near Second Avenue, Steven Salinas, the son of the owner, said in an e-mail.
