BofA Hires Deutsche Bank’s Gilles Moec as European Economy Head

Bank of America Merrill Lynch hired Gilles Moec from Deutsche Bank AG as its new head of developed European economics.

Moec, 44, was Deutsche Bank’s chief European economistBloomberg Terminal and previously worked at BofA Merrill Lynch from 2006 to 2009, according to the internal announcement from Alberto Ades and Ethan Harris, the co-heads of global economics research at the New York-based BofA Merrill Lynch, obtained by Bloomberg News. Deutsche Bank declined to comment.
