Cuomo Travels to Afghanistan for U.S. Security Briefings

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo arrived in Afghanistan, where he’s getting counterterrorism security briefings from the U.S. Defense Department.
The 56-year-old Democrat, who is facing re-election in November, was joined by the governors of Tennessee, Missouri and Nevada and defense department officials, according to an e-mailed statement from the governor’s office.
