China and Japan resumed high-level talks on maritime issues, as the two nations seek to smooth relations strained by a territorial dispute.
Officials exchanged views on the East China Sea and maritime cooperation in a two-day meeting held Sept. 23-Sept. 24 in the eastern China port of Qingdao, China’s official Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday.
