Angola Capital Gets 10 Billion Kwanzas for Drainage, Jornal Says

Angola’s capital, Luanda, will receive an additional 10 billion kwanzas ($102 million) to upgrade the city’s drainage systems and fight malaria, Jornal de Angola reported, citing Secretary for Economic Affairs Sergio dos Santos.

The project will focus on ’’priority actions such as the improvement of health and security’’ to be conducted by President Jose Eduardo dos Santos in coordination with the Luanda regional government, the state-run newspaper said.
