Ropes & Gray Hires New York Prosecutor for Hong Kong

Ropes & Gray LLP hired U.S. federal prosecutor Patrick Sinclair as a partner for its Hong Kong office, as banks and other companies in Asia face increased scrutiny over graft and other misconduct.
Sinclair, who was deputy chief of the general crimes section in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, joined the Boston-based law firm on Sept. 15. He will move to Hong Kong in the new year.
