SolarEdge Said to Join Wave of Israeli U.S. IPOs Next Year

SolarEdge Technologies Inc. plans to raise more than $100 million in an initial public offering next year, two people familiar with the matter said, as it joins a wave of Israeli companies listing in New York.

The Hod Hasharon, Israel-based developer of solar power optimizing systems intends to list in summer 2015 and is currently in talks with financial institutions, the people, who asked not to be identified because the plans aren’t public, said yesterday. Six Israeli companies have gone public in the U.S. this year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. At least four more offerings are pending. Mobileye NV’s $1 billion IPO in July was the biggest in the U.S. by an Israeli company on record.
