Rousseff Gains Support While Trailing Silva in Brazil Poll

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff gained support in an Ibope poll that shows she would lose a second round vote against Marina Silva.

Silva has 46 percent of voter support in an Oct. 26 runoff and Rousseff 39 percent, according to the poll published today that has a margin of error of plus or minus two percentage points. This compares to 45 percent for Silva and 36 percent for Rousseff in the Ibope poll published Aug. 26.
