Blackwater Guards Jury Told Incoming Fire Led to Shooting

Blackwater Worldwide guards charged with killing or wounding more than 30 Iraqis in 2007 believed they were under attack when they fired at cars in a Baghdad traffic circle, a lawyer for one of the four told a U.S. jury.
“There was plenty of evidence from which you could conclude there was incoming gunfire” aimed at the guards, said Brian Heberlig, an attorney for Paul Slough, one of the accused.
