The Israeli army found the bodies of three teenagers near the West Bank city of Hebron, prompting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to vow retaliatory action against the Palestinian militant group he holds responsible for their kidnapping.

The bodies were found today, buried under a pile of rocks and are undergoing forensic investigation, Israeli army spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Peter Lerner said in a phone briefing. Suspects connected with the kidnapping have been arrested, Lerner said, without providing further details.
