Villagers Stone Workers Tracking Ebola in Sierra Leone

Sierra Leone said two people died of Ebola yesterday and seven cases of the virus have been confirmed as villagers in the West African nation threatened medical staff trying to control the spread of the disease.

Two patients died yesterday in eastern Sierra Leone, Amara Jambai, director of disease prevention and control at the ministry of health, said in an interview. Villagers threw stones at medical staff who were trying to inspect one of the bodies yesterday, he said.
