Ikea Board Member Jarnheimer Nominated to Serve as Chairman

Ikea Group, the world’s largest furniture seller, said Lars-Johan Jarnheimer, the former Tele2 AB chief executive officer who serves on the retailer’s board, will become chairman in January 2015.
Jarnheimer will succeed Goeran Grosskopf as chairman of the INGKA Holding B.V supervisory board, the board of the IKEA Group. Grosskopf will become chairman of Stichting INGKA Foundation and two related foundations devoted to charity and management of financial assets, the vendor of flat-pack Ektorp sofas said in an e-mailed statement today.
