Quora Inc., the question-and-answer website co-founded by former Facebook Inc. executive Adam D’Angelo, raised $80 million in a round of financing led by Tiger Global Management LLC.
The funding, which also included existing investors such as Benchmark, Matrix Partners and Peter Thiel, will be used to make sure Quora “lasts forever as an independent company,” Marc Bodnick, head of business and community teams, said in an interview. The company didn’t disclose its valuation.
