Carney Starts Hiring Push to Kickstart BOE Management Revolution

The Bank of England has begun a recruitment drive for eight senior roles as Governor Mark Carney embarks on the biggest management shakeup since the institution gained independence 17 years ago.

The London-based central bank advertised on its website for a director of monetary analysis, who will report directly to Andy Haldane once he becomes chief economist on June 1. The ads for that position and seven others were posted on March 21, and the closing date for applications is April 4.
