Fidelity Names Prior Head of Bond Unit After Morrison Promoted

Fidelity Investments, the second-biggest mutual fund provider, named Nancy D. Prior to head fixed-income investing in the company’s asset-management unit.
Prior, 47, was previously head of money-market funds and takes the role vacated by Charles Morrison, who was promoted to president of asset management at the end of February, the Boston-based company said today in a statement. She will oversee bond and money-market investments and will report to Morrison. Fidelity also named Prior vice chairman of Pyramis Global Advisors, its institutional asset manager.
