Swiss Economy Expands Less Than Forecast as Exports Decline

The Swiss economy grew less than economists expected in the fourth quarter as exports of goods including chemical and pharmaceutical products declined.
Swiss gross domestic product rose 0.2 percent in the three months through December from the previous quarter, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs in Bern said in a statement today. That misses the 0.4 percent median estimate in a Bloomberg survey of 18 economists.
