Empresa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones SA, Chile’s second-biggest mobile-phone operator, fell to a five-year low on concern its operations in Peru may take longer than expected to reach profitability.
The stock dropped 4.4 percent to 6,200 pesos, the lowest since October 2008, at the close of trading in Santiago. It was the worst performance today on Chile’s 40-member IPSA index, which lost 0.3 percent. The shares have lost 20 percent in the past three months.
