Christie Support Firm Amid Fresh Scandal Allegations

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is maintaining support from some fellow Republicans following new allegations that he was aware of lane closings that intentionally snarled traffic onto the George Washington Bridge.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and U.S. Representative Paul Ryan, the party’s 2012 vice presidential nominee, said Christie should remain chairman of the Republican Governors Association, which raises money for gubernatorial candidates.
