Rebar Rises for First Time in Three Days on Production Cost Gain

Steel reinforcement-bar futures in Shanghai rose for the first time in three days as a rebound in iron ore prices increased production costs.

Rebar for May delivery gained 0.4 percent to close at 3,443 yuan ($569) a metric ton on the Shanghai Futures Exchange. The contract has declined 3.6 percent in January.
