Poland’s government warned that further escalation of violence in neighboring Ukraine threatens to spark mass emigration to the West.

“Destabilization in Ukraine could set off an unprecedented wave of emigration -- political and not just economic” -- to Poland and the European Union, Polish Deputy Premier and Economy Minister Janusz Piechocinski said in on Radio Plus today.
