SoWiTec Wins 102 Megawatts of Brazil Renewable-Energy Contracts

SoWiTec International GmbH, a German renewable-energy developer, won contracts in Brazil last month to supply power from three wind projects and a solar farm with 102 megawatts of total capacity.

The wind projects in the northeastern municipality of Mulungu do Morro will have 72 megawatts of total capacity and were awarded contracts in a Dec. 13 government auction, Sonnenbuehl-based SoWiTec said today in a statement.
