RBC Names Fleming Head of Capital Markets in U.S.

Royal Bank of Canada, the country’s second-largest lender by assets, appointed New York-based investment-banking chief Blair Fleming to a new role as head of RBC Capital Markets in the U.S.
Fleming, 52, who maintains responsibility for U.S. investment banking, will report to Doug McGregor, 57, the unit’s chief executive officer, for the new role, Gillian McArdle, a spokeswoman for the Toronto-based bank, said today in an interview.
