Amiad Water Wins Filter Contract for U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier

Amiad Water Systems Ltd., an Israeli producer of water-treatment systems, won a contract to supply filters for making water on board the John F. Kennedy, the second ship of the new class of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers.

Terms weren’t disclosed of the award to Amiad USA Inc. by Newport News Shipbuilding Inc., a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc., for advanced automatic screen filters.
