South Africa White Corn’s 6th Day of Gains Extends 15-Month High

South African white-corn futures rallied for a sixth day in Johannesburg, extending gains to the highest in more than 15 months.
The contract for December delivery increased 1.8 percent to 2,729 rand ($261) a metric ton by the close on the South African Futures Exchange, the highest for a front-month contract since Aug. 22, 2012. Yellow corn for delivery in the same month climbed for the first time in three days, adding 1.8 percent to 2,670 rand, the highest since Aug. 24 last year.
