Daimler Targets More Tesla Cooperation to Boost BMW Pursuit

Daimler AG plans to look at additional cooperation projects with Tesla Motors Inc. as the maker of Mercedes-Benz luxury cars targets Bayerische Motoren Werke AG’s sales lead.
Daimler, which will use a Tesla drivetrain in an all-electric version of the Mercedes B-Class compact, owns a 4.3 percent stake in the Palo Alto, California-based manufacturer and plans to keep the holding to maintain ties.
