Russia Bans Hogs and Pork From Belarus on African Swine Fever

Russia banned hogs and pork from the Vitebsk region in Belarus because of an African Swine Fever outbreak in the country, Rosselkhoznadzor, the food safety watchdog, said in an e-mailed statement today.

The outbreak started on June 19Bloomberg Terminal in the Vitebsk region, which is on Belarus’s eastern border with Russia.
