Sex Video Leads to 13-Year Jail Sentence for Chinese Official

A Chinese Communist Party official who rose to notoriety after a video of him having sex circulated on the Internet was sentenced to 13 years in jail for taking bribes, the official Xinhua News Agency reported.
Lei Zhengfu, the former party secretary for a district in southwestern China’s Chongqing municipality, was also fined 300,000 yuan ($48,800) today, Xinhua reported, citing a local court official it didn’t identify. Xinhua gave no further details about the bribes and said Lei was deciding whether to appeal the sentence.
