Steel reinforcement-bar futures fell to the lowest level in more than four months as the price of iron ore, used to make the building material, declined.
The contract for October delivery on the Shanghai Futures Exchange dropped 1.4 percent to 3,699 yuan ($599) a metric ton, the lowest close for most-active futures since Dec. 13.
