Natural Gas Fluctuates; Supplies Fall More Than Forecast

Natural gas futures fell in New York for the first time in three days, trimming a quarterly gain to 20 percent, on forecasts for moderating temperatures that would curtail heating demand.
Gas dropped 1.1 percent after forecasts indicated mostly normal or warmer-than-normal weather in the lower 48 states in mid-April. New York will reach a high of 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 Celsius) on April 11, 10 degrees above average, and Chicago will reach a high of 62 degrees on April 12, four above usual, according to AccuWeather Inc. in State College Pennsylvania.
