ACME Bikaner Wins Bid to Build 25 Megawatt Solar Plant in Odisha

ACME Bikaner Solar Power Pvt., a unit of telecommunications tower-equipment provider ACME Tele Power Ltd., has won a bid to set up a 25 megawatt solar plant in India’s eastern state of Odisha.
The company has 50 days to sign the agreement with the state agency, A.K. Choudhury, deputy director, Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency, said today in a phone interview. ACME Bikaner will have 180 days from signing to generating electricity from the photovoltaic plant, he said.
