JFE Engineering Unit to Build Six Solar-Power Plants

JFE Holdings Inc.’s engineering unit will develop six solar-power stations in Japan with a combined capacity of 40 megawatts.
Four plants will begin operating next year, one in April 2014 and the last in January 2015, the company said in a statement today. Power from the facilities will be sold to local utilities, according to the statement, which didn’t disclose financial terms.
