New York Fed’s Turnipseed to Retire as Financial Services Head

Carl Turnipseed, executive vice president and head of the financial services group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, plans to retire in January.
Turnipseed has had a 43-year-career at the district bank and is also a member of its management committee, the New York Fed said in a statement today. He became the first black among the top 10 executives at the bank.
