Rubio Says Obama’s Record Results in Negative Campaign Rhetoric

President Barack Obama is resorting to negative rhetoric in his political campaign because he doesn’t have a record of achievements to run on, Senator Marco Rubio said.

“Barack Obama can’t run by saying, ‘Vote for me because things have gotten better,’” Rubio, a Florida Republican, said in an interview on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” according to a transcript. “I think you’re going to see more and more of this type of rhetoric on his behalf.”
