Gazprom’s Partner in Northgas Selling 49% Stake, Vedomosti Says

Farkhad Akhmedov, OAO Gazprom’s partner in ZAO Northgas, exercised a put option to sell his 49 percent stake in the venture to Gazprom, Vedomosti reported, citing Akhmedov.
The price could vary from $1.8 billion to $2.6 billion and the transaction may be completed in November or December, the newspaper said.
