RWE Bids to Build Thermoelectric Plant in Croatia, Poslovni Says

RWE AG, Germany’s biggest utility, is one of 45 bidders for building a thermoelectric plant Plomin in the Croatian Istria peninsula, Poslovni Dnevnik reported today, citing Economy Minister Radimir Cacic.
The Plomin plant will have a capacity of 500 megawatts and it will cost 800 million euros ($987 million) to build, according to the Zagreb-based business newspaper. The winner will be selected in the first quarter next year, Poslovni quoted Cacic as saying.
