The euro advanced against the dollar, reversing a decline, rising 0.1 percent to $1.23 as of 12:11 p.m. London time.
The 17-nation shared currency erased a drop against the yen, trading little changed at 96.12 yen after earlier falling as much as 0.4 percent.
