Euro Climbs Against Dollar; Draghi Says Currency Is Irreversible

The euro rose agianst the dollar as European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said the ECB is ready to do whatever it takes to preserve the currency.

Europe’s common currency gained 0.2 percent to $1.2177 at 11:25 a.m. London time, after weakening as much as 0.3 percent.
