Thomson Reuters Corp. paid about $40 million for Zawya Ltd., which provides online business information on the Middle East and North Africa, Abu Dhabi-based The National reported, citing people it did not identify.
Thomson Reuters announced the acquisition of Dubai-based Zawya yesterday without disclosing the value of the deal.
