Saskatchewan Seeding 74% Complete as of May 28, Ministry Says

Saskatchewan crops were 74 percent seeded as of May 28, the Ministry of Agriculture said in a today in a report.
Precipitation of less than 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) to 4 inches has halted seeding for “a couple days to a week,” the ministry said. Soil conditions in parts of southern and eastern Saskatchewan are wet, according to the report.
