AFM Film Rises in Istanbul After Completing Sale to Mars

AFM Uluslararasi Film Produksiyon Ticaret & Sanayi AS, a Turkish cinema operator, rose in Istanbul after owner Esas Holding AS completed the sale of a 40 percent stake in the unit for $39.9 million, or $7.47 a share.
AFM Film gained 2.3 percent to 13.65 liras at the close. Esas completed the second phase of the stake sale in AFM Film to Mars Sinema & Sportif Tesisler Isletmeciligi AS, raising Mars’s ownership to 89 percent, AFM said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange after the market closed yesterday.
