Germany’s Altmaier Supports Nuclear Phase-Out, Bild Reports

Designated German Environment Minister Peter Altmaier said he’s committed to the country’s long-term phase-out of nuclear energy, Bild newspaper reported, citing an interview.

“The energy transformation is a central government project,” the newspaper quoted Altmaier as saying in an e-mailed preview of an interview to be published tomorrow. “I look forward to leading it to success.”
