Jay Sidhu’s Customers Bancorp Files $115 Million Public Offering

Customers Bancorp Inc., the Pennsylvania lender run by former Sovereign Bancorp Chairman Jay Sidhu, filed plans for a $115 million initial stock offering.

Proceeds will be used to expand the bank and make acquisitions, according to a prospectus filed with securities regulators today. The company is based in Wyomissing and would be listed under the ticker “CUBI,” according to the filing.
