Bank of Montreal Investment Banker William Butt to Retire

Bank of Montreal’s investment banking head, William Butt, said he’s retiring in April after about 19 years with the firm.
“I’m leaving at a time when I have real confidence that everything’s in good shape,” Butt, 49, said in a telephone interview from Toronto, where the company is based. “There’s lots of depth around to replace a guy like me.”
