Gordhan May Lift South Africa Deficit Gap as Growth Slows

South African Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan may push back next year’s budget deficit target for the second time in four months as economic growth fails to meet projections and cuts into tax revenue.
The government will probably forecast a shortfall of 5.4 percent of gross domestic product in the year through March 2013 in the budget tomorrow, according to the median estimate of 10 economists surveyed by Bloomberg. Gordhan estimated a deficit of
