Booz & Co. Promotes Mainardi to CEO as Banerji Finishes Term

Booz & Co., the management-consulting firm, promoted Cesare Mainardi to chief executive officer from chief operating officer, succeeding Shumeet Banerji, the company said today in a statement.
Mainardi, 49, who is also managing director of Booz’s North American business, will take on the new role by mid-May, according to the statement. Banerji, 51, is nearing completion of a four-year term as CEO, the company said.
